Hello Andover friends. What a beautiful Memorial Weekend. Thanks to the Knights of Pythians for the service on Monday. There was a nice crowd that attended. Pastor Jane Rich, Pastor Ken Wagstaff, and Pastor Justin Thacker all did a fine job speaking. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Robinson from East Andover sang God Bless America ,and Corey Mills played taps.
State Primaries will be held next Tuesday, June 8. Voting will take place at the Town Hall from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Happy birthday wishes this week to-Brandon Nadeau on June 9. Belated birthday wishes last week to-Sarah Anderson on May 30.
Congratulations to Vicki Meisner, who will be retiring at the end of the month, after many years of teaching. She taught for a long time at Andover Elementary School before going to Woodstock a few years ago. An open house in her honor was held last Thursday evening at the Woodstock Elementary School.
There will be a bike rodeo held at the town common on Saturday, June 15. This is being sponsored by the Andover Recreation Committee with the help of Jackie Gammon. More information will be available next week.
Speedy recovery and happy wishes to Ted Conrad, who had knee surgery recently.
