Hello Andover friends. The school buses start rolling today, Thursday. Welcome back to school! We sure are thankful for another year of the Andover School remaining open.

The First Congregational Church invites the community to attend worship services on Aug. 29 when special guest Rabbi Jon Haddon of Connecticut will be delivering the message entitled "What Endures." There will also be special music by the choir for the occasion and coffee fellowship following the service. Please plan on attending.
Sympathy is extended to several Andover families who have lost loved ones in the past week.
Anna and Mark Snyder,for the loss of her sister, Michelle Oullet. Michelle passed away on Aug. 8, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Alcide and Beatrice Gallant of Andover. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Errol, N.H. Besides her sister Michelle is survived by two sons, Daniel and Jacob, her husband Bob, two brothers and another sister.
The family of Nancy Bailey Young, who passed away on Aug. 16. Nancy grew up in Andover, the daughter of Clarence and the late Frances Bailey. Funeral services were held in Bethel last week. Memorials in Nancy's memory are requested to either the Pleasant Valley Bible Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 91, West Bethel,or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Ste.250, Dallas, Texas 75244.
Dr. Terri MacKnight, who lost her battle with Lyme Cisease on Sunday, Aug. 15. Terri is survived by her son Michael, and his father Dirk MacKnight of Andover, her mother and father of Pennsylvania, a brother and a sister. A memorial service was held on Monday at the First Congregational Church in Andover, with the Reverend Jane Rich officiating.
