Hello Andover friends.

Swimming lessons start next week at Roxbury Pond. Sign ups are Monday, July 19 at noon at the main beach.

We had a busy weekend; my brother Chris' oldest son got married Saturday in Portland. So we stayed right down overnight and went to the ocean the next day. The wedding was held at the Irish Heritage Center, right down the street from Mercy Hospital. It was a very beautiful old church.

Sympathy is extended to two Andover families,with the passing of their loved ones.

Stacy and Cindy Gammon, for the loss of Cindy's mother,Nancy Conley, on June 24. She and her husband, “Red” Conley, lived in Rumford. Funeral Services were held last Wednesday at Meader and Son funeral Home with theReverand Jane Rich officiating.

The family of Kenney Learned, who passed away on July 3, after several months of ill health. A memorial service will be held at the Andover Town Hall on Saturday, July 24, at 2 p.m. with the Reverand Jane Rich and Pastor Kenneth Wagstaff officiating.
