Andover June 17

Hello Andover friends.

There seemed to be quite a crowd at the common on Saturday for the bike rodeo. At least the weather cooperated. Thank-you to Jackie Gammon and the Recreation committee!

On Saturday, June 26, there will be a Variety Show at the First Congregational Church in Andover. sponsored by People in Action. There will be food and drinks available for sale and also a 50/50 raffle. Donations will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds to benefit the Andover Food Pantry. Last year’s show turned out to be lots of fun, with some very good local talent, so don’t miss out this year.

Congratulations to Blake Conrad, who on May 22, graduated from UNE in Biddeford with a BS degree in Sports Management. He was a dean’s list student each semester his four years and graduated cum laude. The month before, UNE had Undergraduate Awards, which was called the ULEAD awards. Blake was chosen as “Senator of the Year” by peers and college professors. His family is very proud of him and the accomplishments he’s made. Blake is the son of Glenn and Kathy Conrad of East Andover.

Birthday wishes this week to-Julia Rose Putnam on the 17th, and Madison Smith on the 19th.

Have a nice weekend.
