Judging by the last few days we can be hopeful that the nice weather is here to stay now.
On Sunday a good size moose came strolling across my back patio to wish me a “Good morning.”
Jarrod and Paige Crockett had a birthday dinner at their home Wednesday night, May 19, for his mom, Aline Dupont. Lee and Jennifer Norris (Jarrod’s sister) celebrated with them. Ryan Stowell called to say Happy Birthday to his mom (Aline), also. Belated Happy Birthday from the whole neighborhood.
On May 14 the Alder River Grange had an Open House meeting with over 30 people attending. The Bible was opened and the flag presented. Gloria Crockett was very surprised to be given the Community Service Award by the Grange and all present agreed that Gloria deserved this award.
This weekend Cherri Crockett did run in the Androscoggin Care and Hospice 5K in remem-brance of Norm Ferguson. She achieved her personal best with a time of 30.32! Way to go Cherri, you are amazing!
Hope you all can go to the Memorial Day parade in honor and remembrance of loved ones and our soldiers.
