It looks like summer has finally arrived and the last day of school was last Friday. So, drive carefully as there are a lot more kids out in the neighborhood roads. I hope all the Dads had a nice Father’s Day despite the thunderstorm rolling through.

Recently the CPS 4th-graders had a Poster Contest called “Tar Wars.” Six posters were selected from CPS and then sent on to the State of Maine. Seventy other schools participated in this contest. Chances are you will see the winner, Taylor Mason, riding her reward, a beautiful 18-speed bicycle and also a helmet to go along, around the neighborhood. Congratulations, Taylor, from all us in East Bethel. While we are at it, let’s also wish her grandparents, Eva and John Coolidge, a Happy 36th Anniversary.
