Dinner for Sen. Bryant
To the Editor:
We would like to invite folks from Senate District 14 to attend a special dinner and program on Thursday, June 24, at the Eagles Hall in Rumford to honor the legislative service of Senator Bruce Bryant who is unable to seek re-election due to term limits. Senator Bryant is a strong advocate for the needs of his district and of Western Maine, particularly in the area of natural resources, outdoor recreation, particularly hunting and fishing, as well as responding to critical needs such as the flood in Canton, the efforts to bring economic opportunity to the River Valley, and to respond to local issues resulting from school consolidation.
We hope that people will take this chance to enjoy a BBQ chicken dinner, to personally thank Bruce, and to hear remarks from several legislative and Oxford County colleagues. Tickets will be sold at the door but may be reserved by calling 875-2116, and are priced at $15 or $12 for seniors and students.
Former Rep. John Patrick, Rep. Sheryl Briggs, Rep. Matt Peterson, Rep. Terry Hayes and Rep. Helen Rankin
