To the Editor:

I do not understand why the permitting process for any wind turbine projects, including Spruce Mountain, are moving forward despite reams of negative information concerning industrial wind "farms" that continue to be revealed each and every day.

Developers have been exposed over and over again as untruthful and scientists have discovered the negative effects of turbines on people's health and to the environment world wide. Increasingly, the people of Maine do not want these monstrosities installed on our mountains, yet the permits move forward as if nothing has happened. We really need to slow down and take a better look at all of this before it is too late.
