What Do You Think?
When you walk by the ice tower at Bethel Station, what do you think? Are you someone who focuses on costs, potential lawsuits, a waste of manpower? Or can you, perhaps with some effort, look beyond these doubts?
The willingness to take risk -- to start something that may or may not work, is admirable. It takes courage to begin (especially when everyone is watching) and it takes tenacity to move forward. Courage and tenacity are essential to growth as an individual, and as a nation.
To me, the ice tower tells the world that our community has courage and that we believe great things are possible. I think that message has the power to balance out any expenses, real or imagined, now or in the future. Thanks, Jim and crew. You've made a statement, and it makes me proud to be able to call Bethel my home.
