Broderick for Representative
I would like to publicly support the candidacy of Michael Broderick for the Maine House of Representatives for District 91.
I have known Mike for over twenty years. I have always admired his integrity, his values, his political knowledge and his strong sense of community service. He has been the rock of our church, serving as Eucharistic minister and lector, overseeing some of the maintenance issues and representing us frequently to the larger parish cluster. Mike has served his town of Bethel well by serving as chairman of the Bethel Water District and by volunteering at several local Chamber of Commerce events. He has extended his community service to a regional level by chairing the Route 26 Scenic Byway Committee and the Region 7 Transportation Committee. And all of this was accomplished long before a political career entered his mind. Mike gave his time simply because he cared deeply about his community.
And now Mike would like to extend his community service to represent the entire District 91. His entry into the political arena was sparked by a sense that the legislature was responding to a personal agenda of Gov. LePage rather than to a sense of commitment to their constituents. I am extremely confident that, if elected, Mike will represent all of the citizens in District 91 as well as any representative can because Mike genuinely cares about his community.
I am asking for your vote on Nov. 6 to make District 91 “his community.”
