PUT DOG PARK IN NEWRY

Recently I read a letter to the editor in the Bethel Citizen signed by Steve Wight about his support for a Dog Park. I assume he is still a Newry resident.

Newry and Bethel seem to be intertwined in many things. The Chamber of Commerce, SAD 44 school, the dump, Bingham Trust land, and even the cross-country trails merger confirms this.

Maybe a Dog Park in Newry would be beneficial to the skiway and Newry residents, which Bethel dog lovers could use as a joint venture. Dogs in other towns also deserve to run and be free as proposed in Bethel
