FLAG THANKS

A few weeks ago we sent a letter to the Bethel Citizen in hopes that someone would be able to help us take down our old, tattered American flag and replace it with the new one we bought. It had been months of attempting to do the job to no avail. After our letter was printed, our heroes arrived. Scott Hynek and David Freiday brought first a ladder, then a scaffolding unit and working together like a well-oiled engine, they took down the old and put up the new! A great way to start the new year. The old flag is being given to the American Legion post where it will be disposed of properly. Laurence made them both a hearty breakfast and the job was done.
