FLYING MOOSE THANKS

We would like to thank the many volunteers who helped host Saturday’s highly successful Flying Moose Classic XC ski race sponsored by the Bethel Outing Club at the Gould Academy ski trails. We had a terrific turnout for the 7.5 km and 22 km races, as well as the youth events, a 2.25 km race and a lollipop race. The day went smoothly thanks to Gould Academy for donating the use of the field house for registration and the trails at Pine Hill for the races.

We could not have done it without the assistance of many wonderful volunteers including: Brad Clarke, Nick Kline, Julia Reuter, Eric List, Buzz Gamble, Linda Gamble, Mike Hoeh, Lorrie Hoeh, Kate Goldberg, Martha Seigel, Suzanne Pierce, Chris Barstow, Vicky Fimiani, Cathy Heffernan, Tom Deluca, Gary Inman, Sarah Southam, Norm, Dylan and Izaac Greenberg, and others who helped throughout the day. With a special thank you to Wade Kavanaugh for all his work as Chief of Stadium and Tracyn Thayer for coordinating the youth events.
