Willard

Bryan Willard passed away Memorial Day, May 28, 2012. After being diagnosed a year ago with pancreatic cancer, he and his wife Barbara (Angevine) had a joyful time traveling and sharing with family and friends. Special thanks go to Dennis and Flora Mae Fisher family of San Antonio area where the Willards stayed during Bryan's clinical trials.

Bryan graduated from Eunice High School in 1962 with a class of friends that he considered “almost” siblings. He received his BS Degree at ENMU in Portales. He worked in the potash mines as an underground surveyor and for many years was an accountant for the Mescalero Tribe. He and Barbara have lived in Ruidoso 30 years and recently spent their summers at their home in Bethel, Maine.

His life was his LOVE of immediate family, wife Barbara and children Jason and Lane Willard, Nathan and Mary Baudo and their spouses Lisa, Melissa, Gillian, and Jeff. His LAUGHTER was with his many fishing and hunting buddies and his brothers Terry and Larry. His LEGACY is his grandchildren: Mike, Alexis, Rachel, Eli, Alana, and his grandson Willard to be born in August.

In celebration of his life private moments will be shared in the NM desert where he hunted quail, on Nogel Peak where he hiked with Barbara, on Ute Lake where he fished with his sons, and on a Maine River where he kayaked with Barbara's family. In Nature is where Bryan received his Spirit.

Notes about Bryan can be written to his grandchildren who will be compiled in a book telling them of their Grampa Bryan. Please e-mail to Barbara@sierralblancarealty.net or Box 1982, Ruidoso, NM 88355. Bryan was a proud American and especially cared about those that served our Country. Any donation in his memory can be made to Ruidoso's Military Appreciation, c/o Becky, Chamber of Commerce, 720 Sudderth, Ruidoso, NJ 88355.

Bryan will be remembered with a smile by those who understood his sharp mind, quick wit, and easy manner.
