Sweetser

Barbara M. Sweetser, 85, of Bethel, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at Ledgeview Living Center, West Paris.

She was born in Bethel on Dec. 3, 1926. the daughter of Earl and Sarah Alice Laird Morgan. On July 20, 1946 she married Oscar H. Sweetser; they enjoyed 62 years of marriage before his death on April 20 2009.

She had been a homemaker and her family was her life. She and her husband operated a restaurant together for many years, and later an antique shop.

She is survived by her two sons, Tom of Bethel and Wendall of Bryant Pond; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; and a sister, Marilyn King of South Portland. Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
