G’ morning, dear readers, hope you had a great week.
Birthday wishes are going out to John McCormack and Albert Hammond. I forgot to add them to my last week’s column.
It’s been a busy morning here – steamed cleaned the floors, one load of wash all done, dishwasher going. Now to get my column in and then start on posters for the upcoming country music show for Sunday, June 16, at the Litchfield Sportsman Club on Hallowell Road, Litchfield. Show starts at 12-noon – raffles, 50/50 drawing, and food concession open throughout the show. $5 per person, $2.00 for children under 12. So dust off those dancing shoes and grab that western hat. Join us for a great afternoon, and listen and dance to lots of great country music.
Entertained for the residents at Ledgeview Living Center yesterday. Always love playing there; the residents are so appreciative and always want to know when we are coming back to see them.
A short column this week as the band members are coming down for a 2-hour practice this afternoon.
Get well wishes to those of you who are not feeling quite up to par these days – you are in our prayers for a speedy recovery.
Yogi has been a bit under the weather this past week, but he is feeling much better than he was last week.
The skidder has moved in again across the street, hope he gets some better weather for his work than he did the last time he was here.
I will have some news on the Skunk Run Motorcycle Ride coming up next week.
Thanks, Melissa, for the information.
Got to get a pistachio nut cream pie made for our nephew before the day is over.
That’s all from the valley this week, stay well.
