It is chillier today than yesterday, but it is still mild for October. There wasn’t really any frost on the car windows, just wet dew. That is good as my scraper is among the missing. Perhaps it is in the garage, where it may be lost forever. I shall look before I have to use my gloves to scrape the windshield.

Friday, Oct. 26, Halloween celebrations begin in Norway at the Library. Area shops all will participate and treaters should be sure to visit.
Friday evening Oxford Democrats will hold a supper at 5:30 at the Second Congo Church in Norway. Tickets are $10 and sold at the door.
Friday, the 26th, at Fare Share Commons, Fare Share will hold a members meeting at 5:30. Find out how your Coop is doing and what is new. FMI please call 743-9044.

Saturday, Oct. 27, the last of the Indoor Yard Sales of the season will be held on Plummer Hill next to the church. Holiday decorations, books, new items, something for everyone. 8 a.m. till noon.

Wednesday, Oct. 31, is Halloween. Guess we better stock up on candy even though we don’t have too many young people in the neighborhood any more.
