The weather has been wonderful the past few weeks. Thanksgiving was a beautiful day! This allowed people to travel without worries. Jane Wardwell was joined for Thanksgiving by her nephew and wife, Darrin and Heather Reynolds and children Isaiah and Jeanae, her niece and husband, Danijean and Nic Collins and their children, Mckayla and Quin, and Nic's mother. Mckayla and Jeanae were also celebrating birthdays – Mckayla, turning six on Nov. 21 and Jeanae turning seven on Nov.23.

Margaret and Franklin Barton entertained the following guests for dinner on Thanksgiving: Jeff and Sue Barton and Sue's sister and boyfriend; Sue's father, David Goodwin; Dolly and Jim, Rachel, and Justin Barton and his girlfriend, Kyli.

Dolly Barton shot a nice four-point buck last week. She is very excited!

Terry and Frank Howard enjoyed the company of their children, Dareth and Christopher; Terry's mother, Barbara Inman; Mike and June Inman; Brian and Erica Inman; Nita and Ed Butters; and Ed's mother, Betty Preble.

A wonderful Thanksgiving was had at Hillcrest Farm, the home of Chris and Elton Cole. Those attending besides the host and hostess were: Peter and Kathy Cotter; Megan and Patrick Cotter; Kayla Cole and friend Robert Bachelder; Maire and Eben Katlin; Devin and Cole Katlin; Jen and Douglas Bennett and Isabella, Kathy Bennett, David Bennett and friend Drew Mitchell. A big thank you to Megan and Patrick for preparing the turkey. Also kudos to the other people that made or prepared the rest. What a feast!
