East Bethel

Time sure flies when one is having fun. Last week my friend Fred and his friend Helmut were here from Germany to visit me for a couple of days. It was nice getting caught up on how their families are doing and all the happenings in my hometown and Europe in general.

Neil Olson told me that both their daughters, Jill and Carrie, along with their families came for Thanksgiving dinner. They all had a great time together.

Ryan Stowell and his fiance Caterina, Lee and Jennifer Norris, Jarrod and Paige Crockett, and little Teddy spent Thanksgiving with their Mom, Aline Dupont. Gerard Dupont, Aline's dad, was with them also on this special day.

Bettyann Hastings and Sonny went to New Hampshire to Jack and Julie Warwick for Thanksgiving. They were joined by Jeff Hastings and family, Eric Hastings and family and Jay Hastings, plus many more friends and family. All had a great time. Ellen and Scott Franklin were missed, yet all were together in thought.

On Wednesday Jarrod Crockett was being sworn in to the Legislature, so Page, Ann, Butch and Teddy went to be there with him. Congratulations, again, Jarrod!

Please, call me at 824-3220 or e-mail han@megalink.net with your news or whatever you would like to share. Or come see me at the InnSide Shop. We are having a drawing for a Simon Pearce vase.

Oh, and on the funny side (and no offense intended, please) rumor has it that someone got a new camera, which he claims, is so good and fast that he can actually take a picture of a woman with her mouth shut. Hahaha, now who would say something like that, can you guess?

Have a great week.
