Waterford
As January draws to a close I wonder where it stands in terms of cold. I remember colder days, but not in recent years. We have been spoiled the last few years, but at least now I can say I have clothes that are suitable to cold weather use. That makes a big difference and I feel bad for those that do not have good winter clothes. Even though it has been uncommonly cold, I hate to think that people do not go outside because they have nothing appropriate to wear.
That having been said I did not have to work last Saturday and was a total whoos and did not go out in the cold. Sunday it was a bit warmer, and I suited up to spend the day in the cold. Hope all managed to stay somewhat warm and will continue to do so when it turns cold again.
1-31-13, 7 p.m., there will be a meeting at the Waterford Town Office about Tar Sands Oil. I am hoping to convince David to go with me. I do not drive at night on account of I can’t see.
1-31-13, 10 a.m., ACOA will meet at the Waterford Library. This is a discussion meeting and new people are welcome. FMI please call 739-9115.
2-2- 13, I become officially a Senior Citizen.
2-4-13, Knitting Group meets at Waterford Library 2 to 4 p.m. All level of knitters welcome. FMI 583-2050.
2-4-13, Socrates Café 6:30-8:30 p.m. Waterford Library.
That is all for this week. Stay warm and safe.
