Services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15, Morning Worship at 10:30, Evening Service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. is Prayer meeting. On Saturday, Feb. 16 a delicious Valentine Dinner was served to the adults at the Fellowship hall. The Sunday School children served the meal, which was cooked by the Pastor's wife, Paula Jones. The hall was decorated with lights ad candles and Valentine decorations by Mary Beth Hoover. It was all very fancy. Pastor Jones read and talked about verses in the Bible about what love is. It was a very nice evening, enjoyed by all attending. Much thanks to all the ones who put much time in doing it. On Sunday the Church celebrated Heritage Sunday, Feb. 17. Several dressed in old-time clothes and the Pastor gave a history of our Heritage to all attending.
Franklin Grange 124 will meet on Saturday, March 2, at the Grange Hall for a regular meeting at 10 a.m. followed by a potluck dinner. Please b ring a dish to share.
The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet at Ledgeview Memorial Living Center, West Paris on Thursday, March 7, for a meeting with dinner by Ledgeview and Program on Stretching Exercises by Leslie Baumgartel. New members always welcome.
The Woodstock Historical Society will meet on Saturday, March 9, at the Town Conference Room at 6 p.m. Larry Bonney will have the program talking on Early Settlements in Woodstock. Light refreshments following. New members always welcome.
Judith Grover tent 17 DUVCW will meet on Monday, March 11, at the home of Alice Hoyt at 7 p.m.
