Cloudy days and snowy days are about all we have been having lately. At least it is a little warmer and outdoor enthusiasts are enjoying being outside. With a larger snow pack this year more snowmobiles are riding the trails. Even though there are few signs of spring some folks have begun tapping trees.
We have heard of several moose sightings throughout the area recently. It is good to keep a careful eye for moose especially at night. They have pretty low visibility at nighttime.
Rumford Grange 115 met Saturday, March 2, for their monthly meeting. There were ten in attendance and topics of discussion included schedules for summer activities including Sunday dinners, craft fairs, fair displays, free seed day and community service activities. The meeting followed a potluck dinner with very tasty foods.
Gardner Roberts Memorial Library remains open on Wednesday and Saturday morning. The Library Bees meet on Tuesday afternoons to work on crafts and other projects.
