The month of May is flying by! Simply cannot believe how quickly time flies. Have had a very busy two weeks. The best part of it all was the musical at Telstar, The Wizard of Oz. What a grand job they did. Of course I might be a little prejudice, as my daughter in law was the music director and my son was an apple tree and Miss Isabella was Toto! It was a hectic time for all, but we had a great time. Sorry, I didn’t mention the chicks, which also belong to the Bennett family. On Mother’s Day we went to Cho-Sun’s for a wonderful dinner. Bella made the choice to take Mama and Nana there as it is her favorite restaurant! This week has been a little quieter and I am now home getting ready for summer. Doug and Bella came over on Saturday and got my mowers ready and helped me with other tasks. Have lots of birds at my feeders and so glad to see the hummingbirds return. Margaret Barton stopped by for a visit after church. So good to see her doing so well. She and Jane Wardwell went shopping in Conway one day last week. Franklin and Roger Barton went fishing at Kezar Lake on Wednesday. No luck though as it was very windy. Dolly Barton will soon be heading to Devil’s Elbow in Missouri to visit a good friend for a week. Enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend. Let’s hope the sun shines brightly on all the family gatherings – ‘til next time!
