Good morning to y'all. It's a great Friday morning here (6:55 a.m.), with sunny skies and 39 degrees. And the birds are busy at the feeders enjoying their breakfast.
We are off to entertain the Veterans in Augusta today. Looking forward to spending time with them.
Condolences to the following families on the recent loss of a loved one: Glenn N. Henderson, Marion L. Morey, Benton I. Monk, Sr., and Clare E. Piawlock. Thoughts and prayers to each family member.
The band will be traveling to Bridgton tomorrow to play for the residents. So, looking for another great sunny day to travel in.
We want to welcome home more of our Snowbirds from the warmer states, where they spent the winter months.
Birthday wishes to my son, Craig, and my sister, Lorri, who celebrate on the May 21.
Wishing you both a great and happy day.
Wood cutting going on across the street this week, the gentlemen is doing a great job, one load already gone to the mill, and he has another load to go.
I keep looking to see my Orioles, but nothing as yet. They are so beautiful. My Red Breasted Grosbeak came the other afternoon – he is so handsome sitting out in the feeder. All the other birds have arrived and it looks like the feeders will be busy mornings.
We had band practice two days this week. LeeRoy wasn't feeling too well on Monday, these darn allergies are not fun.
Sorry for cutting this short, but things to get done before we head out for the afternoon.
That's all from the valley this week. Y'all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.
