Softball Team thanks

To the Editor:

The Telstar softball team and parents would like to thank the community for their continued support of the softball program at Telstar and in particular for their support of our recent fundraising efforts for our North Carolina trip.

The team and parents had a tremendous trip to the Outer Banks. The weather was fantastic, the teams we played were very accommodating to us and we all had a great time. Team building, practicing and playing the games were the main focus of the trip and the team and parents took advantage of the good weather and fine accommodations to have a very memorable week. Thanks to all of you for your support.

We also want to publicly thank Heidi James, our official chief fundraiser and organizer; without your tireless efforts, we would not have achieved our goals. Much thanks to you from all of us.

We would also like to thank Jim and Bonnie Largess, Levi and DeeDee Brown, Jim and Mary Merrill, Robbie James and Donnie Walker, and Charlie and Suzanne Taylor for all of your support and help.
