REMEMBERING FRANCIS 'HI' BERRY

To the Editor:

Just a quick note to acknowledge the passing of Francis "Hi" Berry, who served the greater Bethel community so well in numerous ways over many years. Beyond those recorded in his obituary is his long service as the secretary of the Gould Academy Alumni Association. In addition, for several years he and his wife, Mary Lou, were most reliable volunteers in assisting the Bethel Historical Society with its mailings.

His record of service to the community should stand as an inspiration to others for generations to come.
