REMEMBER THE PANTRY

Several decades ago local residents started the Bethel Area District Exchange and Food Pantry. The idea was to sell donated used clothing to raise money for our local Food Pantry which helps area folks who are in a crisis.

The idea worked well and we continue today. The people we help through the Food Pantry are referred to us by towns, churches, and social service organizations. Frequently those people are too proud to ask for help when they need it.

Besides the money raised from the resale of clothing, donations have been a very important source of Food Pantry revenue. Please remember the Food Pantry and local people in crisis with a donation to the Food Pantry. All of what you donate goes to the Food Pantry. Everyone involved is a volunteer.

Donations can be mailed to: Bethel Area District Exchange and Food Pantry, PO Box 232, Bethel, ME 04217.
