MacDonald

Miss Andrea L. MacDonald, 59, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her home in Bethel. She was a resident of Mason Street in Bethel.

Born in Biddeford, Maine, on Sept. 11, 1952 she was a daughter of Burton and Rita (Arsenault) MacDonald. She graduated from Rumford High School with the Class of 1971 and also graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington. She worked at Ames Department Store. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed helping with class reunions and was a good friend to all that knew her.

Survivors include a son, John of Rumford; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Kirsten and Nikole. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Russell "Rusty" MacDonald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius St John Church, Rumford. Interment will be in the Demerritt Cemetery, Peru, Maine. Friends are invited to call at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin, Street, Rumford, on Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral Mass.
