Clinton Tinker Cole Littlehale, 77, born Feb. 18, 1935 to Roscoe and Ervena (Cole) Littlehale in Andover, Maine, passed away May 28, 2012 in Jacksonville, Fla.
Clint enjoyed yard work, repairing equipment and tinkering with gadgets. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He proudly served with the United States Navy retiring April 1977 as a First Class Machinist Mate. He was a power plant operator at Baptist Hospital June 17, 1978 till June 17, 1998.
Tinker is survived by his sister, Edith Martin; son, Lawrence Littlehale (Nancy); daughters, Cathy Waldrop (Joseph), Christine Kleinschmidt (Charles) and Carol Diekman (Bryan); 10 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 52 years, Barbara. They have now been re-joined after being separated for over five months. He is also preceded by his parents, Roscoe and Ervena; his brothers, James, Ellis, Clifford, Ray and Edward.
A funeral service was held June 1, 2012 at Eternity Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Fla. Interment followed at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville. Full military honors were rendered at the cemetery as a tribute to the 21 years of dedicated service that Clinton Cole Littlehale gave to our country.
