Bethel voters OK sign ordinance consultant

At Wednesday night’s town meeting, Bethel voters approved $10,000 to hire "an accomplished consultant specializing in sign ordinance issues" to aid the town’s Sign Ordinance Reform Committee in revising the Sign Ordinance.
They also approved a $2,110,812 municipal budget, down $23,526 from last year.
Voters approved using $135,000 from the undesignated fund balance to maintain the current tax rate.
