Irene Billings, 89, of Milton Township, died Monday, June 18, 2012 in Rumford.

She was born April 14, 1923 the daughter of Frank and Florence Downs Burgess. On June 15, 1945 she married Gerald Billings Sr.

Irene was a member of the Peru Senior Citizens; she was a NASCAR fan, and loved watching old movies, westerns and wrestling.

She is survived by three daughters: Jennie Fillmore and her husband Lou, Joyce Pingree, and Janice Bennett and her husband Danny; a son, Reggie Billings and his wife Valerie; a sister, Etta Parlin; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; two daughters Evelyn Billings and Janice Billings; a son, Gerald Billings Jr.; and a son-in-law, Stonwood Pingree.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, at Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 64 Andrews Road, Bryant Pond. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Funeral Home.
