Rotary Yard Sale and Auction

On Saturday, June 26, the Rotary Club of Bethel will present its 23rd Annual Yard Sale and Auction at Telstar High School. As always, the yard sale will begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The preview for the auction will start at 5:30 p.m. followed by the auction starting at 6:30 p.m. sharp. As always, the auction promises to be a lively, entertaining event with hundreds of items and many gift certificates from local merchants. Refreshments will be available.

In the past, this auction has successfully raised funds for scholarships, senior citizen activities and other community related projects. Businesses or individuals interested in making a donation to this worthwhile event are encouraged to send their donations to: Bethel Rotary Auction, P.O. Box 471, Bethel, ME 04217.

Individuals wishing to donate items to the auction may call 875-2364 for more information or to schedule a pick-up time. The club does respectfully reserve the right to decline large appliances or any items that might not be possible to sell.

This year, the Rotary Club is encouraging individuals to consider donating “big ticket” items such as cars, snowmobiles, etc., with a percentage of the final price going to the club and the remainder going back to the donor.

The Rotary Club of Bethel has been fortunate to enjoy the overwhelming support of the community for many years, which support has been appreciated greatly. We hope you will join us on June 26 for another exciting event.
