MCC Crew Seeks Volunteers
Get out on the trail this summer!
A Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) field team crew will be working at Grafton Notch State Park in July. The crew will be working to repair damage caused by Hurricane Irene and they would love your help! All safety equipment and tools are provided by the MCC.
Volunteering with an MCC trail crew is a great way to get outside, get in shape, and make a difference. Available volunteer dates are July 25-26. You can volunteer for a couple hours or both days; it’s up to you!
For more information about volunteering with the MCC or to learn more about helping out with this project, please contact the MCC’s Volunteer Coordinator, Sarah Gaffney, at (207) 624-6092 or sarah.gaffney@maine.gov. Or you can visit the MCC’s website: http://www.maine.gov/doc/parks/mcc/volunteer.html.
