Judith Grover tent 17 DUVCW met at the Grange Hall on July 9 and traveled to Bethel, where they visited the gravesite of Judith Grover whom the tent is named for. A memorial service was held at the gravesite. Next meeting will be on Aug. 13.

A very special program will be held at the Whitman Memorial Library on Saturday, July 21, at 10 a.m. This is for children of all ages 1 to 100. Young children must be accompanied by an adult. Douglas Twitchell, a ventriloquist and story teller, will be entertaining with puppets. There is no charge, light refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome. It will be a program not to be missed.

The Grange will hold a bluegrass show in August.

Looked to me like Mina Morgan had a great birthday party on her 90th birthday. Hope you have many more, Mina.

Services at the Baptist Church are Sunday school at 9:15; morning worship at 10:30; evening service at 6; and prayer meeting on Wednesday evening at 6:30. Vacation Bible School will be Aug. 6 through 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. They need coffee cans for a craft project, if you have any extra.
