Book Sale Thanks

On behalf of the Trustees of the Bethel Library Association I want to extend many thanks to those who made the MollyOckett Days Book Sale very successful this year.

Much of the heaviest work was done by volunteers Mark Kenney, Andrew Whitney, Danny Whitney, Alec Newell, John Applin and Scott Hynek. They moved nearly two tons of books from the library to the tent. Arranging the books was done by Sandy Dennis, Cathy Newell, Michelle Conroy, Gina Douglass, Martha Marjorie Osgood.

The sales table was handled by Scott Denis, Caroline Gould, Lucia Schwarz, Lorrie Hoeh, Pauline Applin and Peggy Wight. Some of the group, such as Sandy Dennis, Gina Douglass and Michelle Conroy worked various positions all day for two days, and then cleared out about a ton of leftover books. It was a large effort and much appreciated.

We also had help from Mark Harrington and the crew from Gould which picked up the tables they had lent us.

The annual book sale is an important fundraiser which supports the library's many community services, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed and bought books.
