The Town Office regularly receives requests for expanded service hours to help those who have a difficult time conducting town business between 8 and 5, Monday through Friday. The Selectmen are considering alternatives that do not include increasing costs through additional staff or overtime. The alternatives include opening early and closing late four days per week and closing early one day per week, or not opening one day per week. We believe it is possible to save money and have more convenient hours for Bethel residents, but would like your feedback.
