At Saturday’s Harvestfest Stetson Easler, 4, of Bethel tried his hand at making homemade applesauce with a food mill outside the Bethel Historical Society. Stan Howe, director of education and research at BHS, cooked the apples, and also provided demonstrations on an apple cider press – along with samples of the final product.
