Albany
I am sitting here listening to the rain and for the phone to ring with some news. The phone hasn’t rung yet !
Hope this gets printed this week as I know a lot of you look forward to to my ramblings on and on.
The big news in the neighborhood is that Mike and June Inman became grandparents of beautiful twin grandsons, Brady and Lucas sons of Michelle and Aaron Carlson and big brother to Zack. They are also the great grandsons of Barbara Inman. Congratulations to you all.
Callers at the home of Margaret and Franklin Barton have been Sarah Seavy and Larry Secord on Monday afternoon.
The homecoming parade and bonfire attracted a large crowd on Thursday night. Nice to see all the support for our Telstar Rebels.
Don’t forget the sale at the Albany Town House on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 9 a.m. I will see you there as I will be the cashier. I will also take names of Albany residents that would like to have me call them for news.

Fall is now with us once again. Summer went by quickly but it was certainly a very pleasant time. I was thinking how much we are like the squirrels and chipmunks as I ride by peoples houses and they are busy storing away the firewood, cleaning up the gardens and making all other preparations for the coming winter.
Not much news from this part of the world. They have chewed up the road in from of the house and it will soon be paved. Do wish they were going to do the whole of Hunt's Corner Road but I guess they are doing just the worse part.
Called on Margaret and Franklin Barton on Thursday evening and they are fine. Franklin is busy getting in his firewood.
Don't forget about the sale at the Town House on Oct. 6. If you have any thing to donate, please call 824-2216 or 824-2568. Remember “One man's junk is another man's treasure."
It was open house house night at Crescent Park School on Tuesday evening and it was nice to see a lot of friends and neighbors in attendance.
This last Saturday evening I attended a family gathering at DiVinchi's in Lewistion to celebrate my sister's birthday. Those attending were the guest of honor, Chris Cole, and her husband Elton, Kayla Cole, Megan and Patrick Cotter, Maire Kaitlin,Cole and Devin and yours truly. We had a real fun time and returned home to play hearts and shared lots of laughs.
Dareth Howard was home for a couple days this week visiting with her family, Terri and Frank Howard and Christopher.
I really would like to hear from more people with news. Remember it doesn't have to be earth shattering. Anything you would like to share is welcome (within reason!).
Have a great week everyone.
