Absolutely wonderful performance

To the Editor:

I cannot possibly come up with enough adequate compliments to express my feelings regarding Telstar’s recent performance of “Guys and Dolls.” In short, it was absolutely wonderful. Not only was it wonderful to see so many young community members sharing their fabulous talents, but also to see so many others supporting such a tremendous endeavor.

From those involved in directing the acting, music, choreography, to set design, refreshments, tickets, promotion, and providing general overall moral support — I won’t even begin to mention names as I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out, but hopefully you all realize who you are and take pride in what you accomplished!

Audiences have the luxury of experiencing the end result, but I don’t know how often they truly realize and appreciate just how much goes into the preparation of such an event.

Witnessing something like this makes my heart smile, laugh, even cry, but at least with joy in knowing there are so many young gifted people willing to share their talents, and that there are so many others giving precious time and effort encouraging those young people to let themselves shine.
