Woodstock Historical Society

On Saturday, June 5, the Historical Society Museum opened for summer hours. Annella Burnham, Olive Risko and Addie O’Neil watched the museum and also cleaned it. On the way home Annella took Mary Billings some flowers from the Billings garden.

The museum has a large bust of Lincoln at the entrance. Nearby is an old telephone switchboard, around the rafters are quilts and military uniforms. Settees and drop-leaf tables line side aisles. Old photos line the shelves and bulletin boards. Glass and china abound. Do visit soon on Saturdays 1 to 4 p.m.
