ALBANY ASSOCIATION THANKS

We extend our heartfelt thanks to two of our board members for their outstanding contributions.

Buzzy Lapham recently produced yet another highly successful fall yard sale, this year netting approximately $1,000. She worked tirelessly to acquire, organize, display, price and sell hundreds of donated items. Buzzy’s commitment and hard work will help the AIA finance its goal of making the Town House a center for the community.

With similar enthusiasm Norma Salway has been the impetus for the inclusion of a museum of Albany history at the Town House. Her quilt-raffle and vintage-themed luncheons not only raised much-needed funds, but also brought people together to share bits of their families’ histories. We trust she will remain connected to the group even after she moves to the Portland area.

Volunteers like Buzzy and Norma, motivated by a genuine love of the community, are true models of civic pride and responsibility.
