Albany June 24

Greetings and hello from Albany Township. I apologize for the long bouts of absenteeism. I’ve been so busy here that I keep missing my deadlines!

We’ve been doing some work on the house (as some have noticed). Plus the homeschooling of the boys keeps us busy. Dana’s new job keeps him going on a regular basis, and our lawn is starting to get a little long because of it. Ah, well!

Quite the storm we experienced on Sunday! I could not believe the wind, rain and size of the hail. Kinda scarey! We tried to shut down things, but I was a bit too slow and our networking router took a lightning hit, so, we had to get a new one. Otherwise, we were relatively unharmed by the storm. The dead tree next to us took quite a hit, though, as parts of it ended up in the road.
