East Bethel July 15
It has been quite the eventful week for the neighborhood. First of we need to wish both Kathy Hebert and Skype (Kenneth) Crockett a belated Happy Birthday ( July 6). Bettyann and Sonny Hastings had a small family reunion at Small Point, with all the kids and grandkids.
Last Wednesday, Arlene Harrington spent a delightful day with her oldest sister, Judith Smith, who was here visiting from Bucksport.
On Saturday, July 10, the Hebert family and also Neil and Linda Olson attended Jason Hebert's and Ann Lakeman's wedding at Folsoms Hangar, Greenville Land Airport. Angie told me it was well worth the ride and all had a great time. Congratulations to the young couple from the whole neighborhood.
Mollyockett Days weekend is coming right up. Be sure to go to Stan Howe's on Saturday, the 17th. The Alder River Grange will be selling ice cream and brownies on his front lawn.
By now you all know that DK (Danny) Kennagh passed away on July 5. My son Ryan asked me to share the dedication he wrote for him. “DK was a very caring and loyal friend to all. He always had a joke or a story to put a smile on your face when you needed it most, and he was always there to talk to. If you needed something, he was there to help you, even if it was his only jacket to keep you warm. But most importantly, he was always there to be your friend no matter what. He touched many hearts and lives and will be truely missed and remain loved by all.”
Please, make sure to let me know your news, tips or whatever you want to share. Watch for the new Trivia question in the next Citizen.
Till next week.
