Waterford July 29

Amazingly enough, we seemed to have gone from the dog days of July to fall in one day. Oh it has gotten to 80 during the day, but the mornings and nights are delightfully cool. I'm sure we'll see more of those oppressively hot days, but for now, all is well. I just hope we don’t get a frost before the garden has hit its height. For now, we have greens and really nice cucumbers. Summer and winter squash are yet to come. Corn is growing but not at eating stage yet, but we are usually slow in that category. I can’t wait!
