West Paris July 29

This has been another week of hot, humid, beautiful days. There has been a lot of cooling breezes with the sunshine. The weatherman promises another week of the same. Most nights are cool and good for sleeping.

The Cotton Tops are out early before the heat rises. Our two-mile walks are indeed pleasant.

At the West Sumner Universalist Church on Aug. 1 Bernice Martin will be the speaker. Church begins at 11 followed by a luncheon. All are welcome. Some churches have a recess during the summer so come join in with  the summer services in this beautiful old church.

Beverly and Vince Stevens and Great-grandson Dustin enjoyed the weekend camping at Littlefield's Beach. The weather cooperated and allowed a lot of beach time.

The yellow, fluffy baby chicks next door are about six weeks old now and growing fast.  Dana built a portable pen and moves it around for them to get the grass and bugs.  A tarp covers half of it which gives them coverage from the rain showers.

Muffin enjoys sitting in the open bow window breathing in the fresh air. She appears to like the light breezes.
