The Whitman Memorial Library program is today (Nov. 8) at 2 p.m. Suzanne Dunham, Greenwood, will provide the program on “Honey Bees and other pollinated.” She will describe to us the practice and mystery of beekeeping and the importance of honeybees and other pollinated to us and our environment. Brian and Suzanne Dunham have had bees for five years at their Greenwood home. The public is invited, no charge, light refreshments.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, Franklin Grange 124 will hold a mock Hee Haw Show at the hall at 7 p.m. Come support the Grange and have a fun evening.
The Woodstock Historical Society will hold its meeting on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Town Conference Room. The program, by Vern Maxfield, is talking on the upcoming bicentennial. Light refreshments follow the program. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
Judith Grover tent 17 DUVCW will meet on Monday, Nov. 12, at Alice Hoyt’s. Nomination of officers, and please bring your items for Togus at this meeting.
Services at the Baptist Church are Sunday school at 9:15; morning worship at 10:30; evening service at 6; and prayer meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Larry Billings recently gave the program at the Woodstock Historical Society on the paperwork at the Museum.
The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens met at the Locke Mills Church on Thursday, Nov. 1, for a meeting and delicious soup and chowder dinner put on by the Ladies Circle. A fun game party was held. Next meeting is at the American Legion Hall in Locke Mills on Dec. 6. The program will be The Forestdale School Belllringers. There will be an exchange of gifts, if you want to bring a gift to exchange. Cards may be exchanged. Bring something for the food pantry and Kids for Christmas.
Remember Veterans Day is Sunday, Nov. 11. The Legion will be having a program and flag burning at 1 p.m. on that day.
