Andover

Hello Andover friends. What a great Olde Home Day weekend! There was a very large crowd for the day, the weather was perfect, what more could we of asked for. Kudos to the commmittee for their dedication for yet another year. Happy birthday wishes this week to Destiny Hutchins on the 13th, and to Leah Merrill , also on the 13th, one whole year old!

Cheerful thoughts to a couple of Andover residents, who have been in the hospital lately, Nancy McNamara and Madeline Littlehale.

Warren Palmer, Kentucky, has been here visiting with family and friends for the past week.

This week's news from Polly Johnston-"Olde Home Day was a great success. My book finally came and I was at the Historical Society table. What fun! I did OK at the flower show also. Joye Dick and I had pictures in the Photo contest, and we all did great. Shirley's donuts at the church were wonderful. I waited all year for that! Joye was a great help and got us around everywhere -- what a beautiful day, if chilly at times.
"We go to Portland to meet friends at DeMillo's for lunch; should be a fun day.
Thursday we leave for Norman and Muriel Littlehale's in Wilson's Mills then on Sunday to Bosebuck for overnight. Up early Monday a.m. and go to Portland to fly out Tuesday afternoon. It was great to see everyone -- we needed our Maine 'fix!'"
