Nancy Bailey Young

Nancy Bailey Young, 56, of Bethel, wife of James Young, died Aug. 16, 2010 in Lewiston.

She was born in Rumford on Oct. 25, 1953 the daughter of Clarence and the late Frances (Nichols) Bailey and was educated in local schools graduating from Telstar High School Class of 1972. Nancy had been a homemaker and worked at the Crescent Park School for several years. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Bible Church and enjoyed being with her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Young of Bethel; her father, Clarence and his wife Mary of Andover; one son, Joshua Young of New York, N.Y.; one daughter, Shonna Young of Lynchburg, Va.; eleven siblings, Rosalie and John Holliday of Bethel, Barbara Dakin of Pottersville, N.Y., Howard and Laurie Bailey of Andover, June and Mike Inman of Albany, Rick and Carol Rickards of West Peru, Barry and Sharon Rickards of Rumford, Donnie and Barb Bailey of Andover, Randy and Ginny Rickards of Union, Kathy and Brian Tibbetts of Bethel, Patti and Steve Wood of Warren, Judy and Garth Conrad of East Andover; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Crescent Park School on Thursday, Aug. 19, 6 to 8p.m. with funeral services at the school on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Aaron McNally officiating. Burial will be private.
