August is drawing to a close and September will soon be upon us. School begins this week -- for some it is Wednesday, for some Thursday, and for others Friday. Be careful of stopped school buses and kids at bus stops. Around here, our fifth and sixth graders will be transported to Harrison Elementary. Good luck to them. We also will begin a pre-K class. That will give those students a leg up when they start kindergarten.
On a personal level, David and I will be having a house warming and 7th Anniversary party on Sunday, Sept. 5, starting at 1 p.m. Please come and see our new house and celebrate with us. Bring a dish to share with others as we all did at our wedding. If I can get my printer working -- 0h it is apparently networked somehow -- David will have flyers at work.
Condolences go out to the Jim Young and family at Nancy’s passing. She will be missed in the Bethel community.
