Upton

The Upton Ladies Aid Association will have a meeting after breakfast Sunday, Feb. 3. They plan to discuss, and choose a quilt pattern for this year's quilt. Saturday, Feb. 16, at 5 p.m. the Ladies will offer a dinner featuring German foods. Sunday, Feb. 17, Carol and Charlie will host their annual Winter Fun Party.

The State Line Snowmobile Club will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Upton House.

Jennie, Neil and I took advantage of the snowmobile registration reciprocity weekend and rode a long loop to Colebrook and back. Some of the trails were wider and straighter then Upton's but not many were better groomed. The trails and the trail side businesses were all busy. It was good to see a lot of family groups with small children enjoying the trails and the views.
